dead god removed after rep+?

I didnt think there was any new items added, is there any reason my save isnt considered dead god any more?

I realised that if i change back to repentance my save is still dead god, its only when updating to repentance + that the save is removed. Are saves not synced across versions?

so yeah moving to the dlc just wipes my saves and replaces one of them with a bugged incomplete save which says i havent picked up all the iteams and dont have some of the souls unlocked, not sure what to do

there are save backups in the documents/my games/the binding of isaac repentance+/save_backups

also please make your own save file backups just in case of a desync bug that can mix up host's save data with desynced user that can be also permanently destroyed

the save backups are also out of date, its like half completed, my previous save was a 100 percent dead god save

thats very unfortunate, in this case i can give my own dead god save file compatible with repentance+ if you want, but obviously you won't have your stats on it and such anymore

i just had a different issue. i DIDNT have dead god and logging in today showed it as having dead god... and i got like 150ish acheivements all at once. only two i didnt get were online related. so uh... something appears to have gone horribly wrong with the patch?

You have had the save swap corruption bug, this actually happened to me.

Your dead god file is in there, its just someone else has it now haha.

there's three online achievements that don't give anything other than dead god progress

this happened to me on ps5 and i have no ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ idea what to do. ♥♥♥♥ this game. dead god took me so long to get. how hard is not ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ up a save file

It's been a while since you wrote this, but I have the same problem. It would help me a lot if you could send me the file with the Dead God too.
