Rock Bottom never seen
As the title states - I have never seen Rock Bottom since unlocking it in October '21...

I've seen every other passive item from the secret room loot pool, I go out of my way to locate and enter secret rooms. I usually find one per floor.

I'm starting to wonder, is it bugged for me? Is there a way I can find out?

Yes I know RNG can be a cruel mistress sometimes, but to have never seen an item in over 8 months of play seems a bit extreme....

your best bet would be breaking the game and cycling through the entire secret room pool

or unlock Death Certificate and craft it using the Bag of Crafting as T. Cain (8 bone hearts is a fixed recipe for crafting DC). Scoop up pennies into the bag to turn into portable slot machine actives (fixed recipe for this is 8 pennies) and craft them while in a Secret Room to turn any dropped hearts it creates into Bone Hearts. Once you've got 8 in there, scoop 'em up with the bag, craft Death Certificate, and find Rock Bottom

I've unlocked practically everything, so I have Death Certificate. Thanks for the guidance but I'm not sure how any of what you say helps with getting Rock Bottom? How would just crafting DC help me 'find rock bottom'?

Also, I'd like a better solution that to play T.Cain, as I find his gameplay style very tedious and quite possibly the worst elements of the game distilled into one character...

DC takes you to a museum version of the home with one of every item you've unlocked. You can select ONE to leave with. Wander around CAREFULLY till you find Rock bottom then you can touch it for the achievement of touching everything. Also seeing it there will prove it can spawn, and you've just been unlucky.

As you may or may not know, Death Certificate transports you to an area with EVERY ITEM and you can take ANY one of them, including Rock Bottom. That being said, because it has a fixed recipe in the Bag of Crafting (8 bone hearts), it makes T. Cain the easiest character other than resetting runs as Eden for filling out your collection due to the ease of acquiring DC as him.

As for why you haven't seen it in a secret room, I'll just chock it up to ♥♥♥♥ rng

Guys thanks so much for the answers - I'll try the DC method (I was mistaking this for a different item).

Edit: So I got DC and searched the rooms... it was there. Tbh I kind of wish it wasn't!! My luck has been terrible...

There are a lot of good secret room items, but you'll hardly ever actually see an item in a secret room. If you do though, it'll be missing no.
