Glass Cannon... Seriously!?

Takes all your health to use it.... Had a good run going used it once to see what it did, and death... What a stupid, dumbass, lame item. WTF?!

It should have been nerfed in a way, that it only drains black/soulhearts, if you have half or less red-hearts, encouraging the use of red-hearts.

Now i rate it, with the exception of playing as The Lost, below Mom's Pad/Bra. The latter at least give you a decent transformation.

Before an update to The Binding of Isaac:Afterbirth it only drained red hearts. IT was descided to be too OP, so it was nerfed to take ALL types of hearts.

Sounds like two good situations. Which is exactly what he said, that it is situational. It's not a bad item if used correctly

Highly situational though. Even then I'd likely only use if I had extremely terrible damage and no defensive items, as using it would mean any excess hearts I had found would go to waste.

True, but that doesn't make some of them any less of being some of the worse items though. While I'll give it the credit of not being as bad as say kamikaze, it's still one of the ones you wouldn't ever touch unless you either have the lost, or you are just doing pretty bad on damage and it may be worth taking it (assuming you don't have dfensives that may make up for the lack of damage).

well the health of the second phase is based of how much damage you did the first phase of hush so if you fight the first phase without using glass cannon then use it second phase it will make the fight quicker

That's a myth, just like "The room before Ultra Greed is a DPS check". UG and Hush's DMG resistance scales dynamically during battle. If you stop attacking for a while (10-15 seconds, i think?), it even resets and the next attack will deal full damage.

I've tried Glass Cannon with Lost. It's great but I prefer to switch to other better item if I have a chance. IMO Candles, which are much more common, are still much better than Glass Cannon. I'd keep the cannon till endgame only if I get some crazy synergy.
