Skeleton Key in Greed Mode

Skeleton Key is one of my only items left in order to fill out the item roster, but I'm having a really tough time finding it in secret rooms. I as wondering if you could pick up Chaos in Greed Mode in order to get Skeleton. Can anyone confirm this?

you don't need to :

in normal mode you can realize it, you just need :

- Restock
- Chaos
- Any items that provide coin farming (IV Bag/Piggybank/the bag looting pickups)
- 1+1free4evar

Just keep trying for those secret rooms, it'll appear in there eventually.
And you can in fact find the Skeleton key in Greed mode with chaos, I've found it once doing this.

There are some other ways to break the game, like D20&Sack Boy; Just wait for a room full of pick-ups (jera that room, if you can). Rooms with several (golden)chests are usually a good target.

Then open all chests and sacks and do not pick up anything or leave the room. If you leave the room, the empty chests de-spawn - these can also be re-rolled, unless they contained a pedestral item.

Now re-roll all that into even more sacks and chests, with some sacks guaranteed to drop you a battery and repeat until the room is clustered with goodies.

An alternative to D20 would be Blank Card&Cracked Dice and as alternative for Sack Boy, Blank Card&Jera plus at least one battery charge pick-up.

I bet there are other ways to break the game too.

The Skeleton Key is not in the Greed Mode pool at all, so you'll never find it there. Also, if you somehow manage to break a regular run, remember to pick up Chaos, if you have the chance, or you get breakfasted, since the Skeleton Key is only featured in the secret room pool.

I'd say, you'll be more likely to just find the Skeleton Key normally than by hoping for a gamebreaking run.

OR just play normal mode with Isaac, blow up a wall, and if it's a secret room containing an item, reroll it until you get skeleton key. Worked for me
