Room after defeating mom?

So I just beat mom's foot and a hole appeared in the wall with red light coming out of it along with a devil deal. I took the devil deal first just to see what was inside and when I came out the room was gone. Can anyone tell me what I missed?

It was most likely boss rush, which unlock if you beat Mom before 20minutes, and closes again after. In there, you can pick 1 of 4 items, and if you take one, it spawns 15(?) bosses in waves for you to fight.

Im guessing you are new, its called boss rush and its mandatory if you want 1001%.

Inside theres 2 - 4 item with 1 more at the end. After taking one you'll fight 14~ish bosses per wave, each wave have two bosses and will recharge your battery charge by two if you did a wave.

Actually, it's 15 waves of 2 bosses each, for 30 total bosses. There are unlockables for beating it with each character.

I had one before, but it was size of 2 rooms with rocks instead of normal 4:4 size

If you don't have Afterbirth it was all bosses that were in the original Flash Isaac, and you always had 4 items to pick from, but Afterbirth changed things.
