Why is little chad so absolutely useless?

First of all its meant to drop half a heart every 2 rooms, which is "ok" at best. Secondly. it never drops. it drops half a heart every 2 floors if that for me. It is without a doubt one of the most useless items in the game, just beaten out by anti gravity.

Just pair it up with Dark Bum and it's somewhat okay.

Little Chad's a good item and unless something bugged, he'll always gives you a little kiss, and therefore, half a red heart every 2 rooms.

Good synergies, i can think of: Maggie's Bow, Dark Bum, playing as the Keeper.

cant reroll him when your boss is chad and he ALWAYS drops the ♥♥♥♥♥♥.

i think the problem here is that you dont know when your heart drops are from the room or from chad, if he had a little animation that showed him actually dropping the hearts (like dark bum) you'd actually be able to see exactly how useful he is.

Little Chad does have a short kissing animation along with a smooch sound, but he does that upon clearing every room, while he drops half a red heart "only" every other room.

Anyways, you'll still the red heart on the minimap, in case you've missed it.

Have you had the Daemon's Tail trinket on you that time? Supposedly, while not making Chad produce any black hearts, it makes Chad only have a chance of spawning a half-heart every other room.
