Speed, Onan's Streak, and the Guardian are poop.

Uggh, these three are ridiculous. Especially Speed. Are there any particular tips to completing them? Or is it just luck/skill? Are the unlocks you get for them good at least?

Taurus made speed pretty easy. It activates almost immediately. Just hope you get descent upgrades with it to take out bosses.

Honestly, these challenges are the tamer challenges, brains is still by far the hardest challenge the game has to offer in the dlc. That being said, speed is more or less down to luck in terms of getting high dmg quickly, and not getting gurdy jr as a boss, that one in speed WILL hit you. Guardian can be aggravating with some enemies that just bum rush, such as knights in the depths. But it is doable if you alter your playstyle to act like a guardian. As others have stated it is probably the most creative challenge in the game now. As for Onan's streak, its all skill. They give you chocolate milk, so you begin with a lot of dmg on top of natively being judas. However if you are having troubles with that one, stay away from piercing shots, it will count as a miss if you use piercing shot items such as scythes, polyphemus, brimstone, tech, piercing shots, etc. However if you are lucky to find holy mantle, you get a lifeline for the room, and if memory serves you get item rooms in that challenge. So if onan's streak is giving you a lot of trouble, resetting for holy mantle in the item room is a good strategy for it. (unless I am remembering that wrong, all I do remember is I had holy mantle when I finished onan's streak myself)

I would not put guardian to the same category. The brains is 100x times worser than Guardian. I think Guardian is the most interesting and creative chalenge and I had lot of fun with it. I definitelly gonna play guardian again!

What you could actually do is intentionally drop a bomb to hit your heart, and the invincibility frame is ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up and last longer so you could just cheese it!

I actually thought guardian was very fun and onan's streak wasn't anything bad. Speed however still gives me nightmares

Can only imagine how BS these challenges are in repentance now
