Why won't Eve unlock?

I'm playing afterbirth and to unlock eve it says that i need to pass 2 levels without collecting any hearts, easy, done, however Eve hasn't been unlocked I've done this over and over again is there something else i need to do first? does playing from a seed matter towards unlocking characters?

I'm pretty sure it does. Otherwise people could use OP seeds and win easy-peasy. Is there a "No acheivements" icon?

Yes. Seeds lock you out of practically everything. Seeds are only for fun, but to unlock anything you should not be using them. I don't think I've ever used a seed, because the game is too.. big, to not want to unlock anything while playing. In seed runs but also challenges, daily and non-daily, an icon appears that shows you won't get anything unlocked by doing so. Except for finishing the challenge itself.

Yeah, I barely miss a few items. Which two of them that I found once in a challenge and a seeded run... *sigh*

Here's a hint: Azazel is unlocked by 'buying' stuff from the devil 3 times in one run. Azazel has only evil hearts, so unless you get an HP boost, you physically cannot pick up hearts. Once, when I was trying to unlock Eve, I accidentally unlocked Azazel. Using Azazel, unlocking Eve became a breeze.

Yeah, but HP boosts don't, so that's nice.
