Any tips on finding Missing Poster?

Hey all, I'm trying to unlock The Lost.
So I've REKT my donation machine buying Trinket Box (or whatever it's called), using batteries and everything else looking for that Missing Poster.
I've been doing Cain runs and it just seems to elude me every time, is there anything else I can do to try and increase my odds of finding it? Thanks.

There isn't really anything you can do to increase the odds of the Missing Poster appearing. Basically, your best bet is to play as Cain and abuse fortune teller machines, or Mom's Box with battery items.

If you're lucky, you might be able to get Mom's Box, the Wafer and Sharp Plug, giving you plenty of opportunities. Combined with Scapular or Pyromaniac and plenty of bombs, you'd be able to use Mom's Box indefinitely until the Missing Poster pops up.

forget about it. Just do other things until it randomly appears. I spent a good amount of time looking for it. I duped chests to spawn 128 trinkets in one room. I had 7 bloody pennies in that room and NOT ONE missing poster. I left out of annoyance even though I could endlessly keep making trinkets.

I forgot about Fotune Teller Machines, and I wont devote runs to it but anything to increase my odds is worth a shot.

Just like all luck based stuff, don't look for it (as the others have said). Just do other stuff but keep an eye out. Eventually it will happen.
