Ways to find Mega Blast fast?

All I need to do to join the 1001% club is to find Mega Blast, any tips on how to obtain it fast? I've been trying to play as Isaac and reroll 2nd floor devil deal over and over, but its real tedious and isn't working so far.

I take it the advice to find godhead is about the same?

My Tip for God Head: Since it can be found in a normal Item Room in greed mode just start as Cain (he starts with a key), open the goldne room. If God Head isnt there - reset.
Mega Blast: Greed mode runs with Isaac. Make sure that the D6 is ready to reroll devil deal items. Since you can get a ♥♥♥♥ ton of devil deals in one run its far more efficient than normal second floor runs.

Wait, what? you're sure about that? you can find god head is in the challenge room in greed mode? Without needing chaos?

Yes Godhead occasionally appears in the golden item room.

Thing about if you get an infinite money combo in Greed Mode, and pick up chaos, you'll start getting a significant amount of breakfasts once you deplete some of the smaller item pools, but you'll still get new items too if you buy past the breakfast. I once hit a point where I bought over 20 breakfast in a row before getting something new.

I first found Mega blast with Isaac on greed mode. I keep restarting the game until i found either Steam sale or chaso. I found steam sale first. Then i kept buying battery and reroll until i found chaos, and of course : some item to get "strong enough". After that, i kept buying item and rerolling, until i finaly find it after a total of 20 reroll. I was quite lucky i guess.

D20 and Greed mode got me Mega Blast. It took about an hour of re rolling items, I all but exhausted all of the items in the shop, eventually got chaos, and it showed up in a red chest.

It was way easier than getting Godhead in Rebirth, which was running as Isaac until I finally made it to an angel room, then I would kill the angel and reroll the key piece along with the item. That took several hours to do.

Do you actually have to unlock mega blast legit hard way for it to appear in greed shop at all? Or does the greed d20 strategy eventually break the game where it drops mega blast eventually?

If you break the game, it will drop Breakfast instead of giving you items you haven't unlocked.
