I personally don't know where this is going anymore, what I am trying to say is that Cancer is better in every single way except possibly some situations.

depends on your run

if you have low tear rate but decent damage, cancer
if you are really struggling for damage, then take curved horn

It doesn't change much. If you have a charging item, Cancer will heavily reduce charge time, whereas Curved Horn will still just increase damage. With Mom's Knife, Curved Horn is WAY better because of how much damage per tick Mom's Knife does, and faster charge on Mom's Knife isn't that good. On Brimstone though, I would stick with Cancer.

Essentially, it depends on what else you have, but more often than not cancer is better.
