Nearly impossible to get to Mega Satan

Wanted to get those mega satan icons and what the heck happenned in the dlc? It wasn't so hard to get the two key pieces... I thought that killing one angel prevented from getting a devil deal, apparently it's not the case anymore... one more dead run, great... :/

This game became way too annoying... contemplating not bothering playing this anymore, feels I have better to do...

Sola is corretct tho, by using the sacrifice room u can get the angels to spawn. U can even teleport yourself to the dark room.

it is not a troll ... use the sacrifice room, you need a lot of HP tho .... the new rule for the sacrifice room is basicly every time you have *donated* x amount of hearts you have a chance to spawn,a angle you can kill for a key part ( note if you already got a keypart you might need to kill 2 angles in the room )

it seems you need 6-9 hearts for a angle spawn ( this might be random but thats what i have seen so far ) you also have a chance to get teleported directly to the fight. but that needs 12 ? hearts or so and is pretty nasty if you do so on the first levels.

They gave sacrifice rooms a buff, if you have enough hp around to sacrifice yourself 11 times, you'll get both key pieces. On the 12th you get teleported to dark room.

No. even in the regular rebirth it was always like this. however now it is just a higher chance of getting a deal in the devil with a keypiece or even both

It's not you can get to mega satan if you use the self sacrafice room

Also don't take devil deals and then it's easy to get to mega satan thats what I did with all the characters, lost was a bit hard but I did finally get god head

Yeah but then it's pretty hard to not get red heart hurt and get the deal chance... I think this is an unecessary "nerf"... :/

Thing is tho .. it seems something changed not long ago.

Several times in different runs i have skipped first devil deal ... got a angle room next got the first key part and never got a angle room again in the same run ( not taking and deals later atall including black markets ) a few times i simply got no deals later atall even with not taking red heart damage atall and other times it *swapped* back to devil deals.

might be a change might be a bug but something is up i think.

It's not a change or a bug. Angel rooms have never been guaranteed. Having a key piece is merely a small boost to the percentage chance of seeing one (there are are a few other things that can change the odds.

Sacrifice rooms are now amazing and can potentially pay out in much more health than you started with. I use it all the time to get the key pieces to beat mega satan with each character. only one problem however, you cannot use the sacrifice rooms with the lost and i imagine its hard to use the room with the keep however possible. Do this method over angel rooms in my opinion
