whats the difference between blue and black hearts?

When depleted, Isaac deals 40 damage to all enemies in the room. Damage can be enhanced by Missing Page (trinket and item). This damage bypasses armor of endgame bosses.
Otherwise blacks hearts function equally to blue hearts - if Isaac takes damage to either of them from enemy or spikes, he doesn't lose Devil/Angel deal.
If you have full health, picking up black heart will replace existing blue heart.
