Dataminers found ways to get around the testing that they were doing so they closed the beta. You can still play local coop or you can use steams shareplay, but it can be laggy. Both cases require at least one person to be using a controller. They will likely open beta again before the full rollout, but if not, the full roll out will be in November/December.
