Must buy dlc?

JUst wondering if i should buy every dlc or just someone. Im really into isaac but really dont understand anything about the DLC, so, what should i buy?

All three of the DLCs are good, each one adds new characters, items, and enemies to unlock and encounter as you play the game.

I started with the rebirth version, it is much easier, but there are few endings, there is no greedy mod and there are fewer characters than in the DLS, I would advise you to start with the DLS as there are more characters and content, and I also completely forgot in the last DLS there are more fps for this rebirth versions

the dlcs are great and offer huge expansions of the game, including floors, enemies, items, endings, bosses, rooms, challenges, even modes! (greed mode)

also if you get afterbirth+ or repentance you unlock mods which are cool (although most mods are already synchronized with repentance over ab+)

The DLCs for this game are so big in their content, you can easily treat them as sequels

Remember, you can't buy afterbirth plus without afterbirth, and you can't get repentance without both of the previous dlcs.

here the thing. if you really enjoy the game whit rebirth and have the money. then buy all dlc at one's.
there a lot... no...
there TOO MUCH changement on every dlc.

in short:
rebirth is the classic experience. normal difficulty overall

afterbirth is different experience. there q.o.l in it but it make the game a little bit easier

afterbirth + is a different and bad experience.
more q.o.l, bug's, a CANCER of a final boss and the game break it self half the time whit broken synergy like 2 steam sale's and restock or give you unwinnable run do too some item being truly terrible.

repentance is all so different and it peak gaming. hard mod but fair.
fix the mess plus did (minus the cancer), double the content compare too the dlc's AND base game combined. q.o.l in space's, buff for extremely bad items, co-op whit friends coming soon, there mods out the wazoo and G-fuel.

I got isaac for 10 bucks or something with all dlc because of summer sale so it should go really cheap

They're all very worth it, as they only add to the overall experience. You're not able to use any mods if you don't own Afterbirth +, and Repentance is a huge addon with an amazing amount of content. If you're into the game after playing for a bit, I would say to buy them. This is easily a 700+ hour game and you will miss out without getting the DLC.

You CAN'T buy a random DLC and call it a day, thinking it will work anyway. WRONG !
EXAMPLE : Afterbirth + needs all the previous DLCs (Base game and Afterbirth).
So for Repentance (the last DLC), you need the base game, Afterbirth and Afterbirth+

The DLCs here doesn't work like classic game where one DLC is unrelated to the other DLCs. Here it work like a chain : you need to buy the previous ones, else the DLC will not work.
