Mod to check if item/trinket has already been taken?

Hello there, I'm replaying again, and would like to know as title says,if there is any way to, whenever an item or trinket spawns, to install any mod that can show if I already took that item in my save slot.

You know this times when you find a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ item but you're not sure if its already been taken or not in any of the past runs, so you end up taking it just in case.

External Item Descriptions has the feature you need - it shows an exclaimation mark above items you haven't picked up.

Though you need to run a script that comes with this mod (.../scripts/savegame_reader.zip) to make a file to track progress, and also Mod Config Menu to manually switch between files.
