restart button not working

so yeah press R nothing happens any idea what to do or is it bugged.

You have to hold down r

You have to hold it down for several seconds.

I'm guessing that's to stop players from inadventantly re-setting a run.

Hold it down? I just have to slightly press "enter" or "space" to restart.. Haven't tried "R" though.

If you're playing as Eden, holding R doesn't restart. And you will have to manually exit to main menu, then start a new game.
