"The Empress", "Strength" or "The Devil"?

So, some of those cards increase stats or damage, but if i need to choose, which one is best for boss fight?

strength, it gives you a free DD item if you use it right.

So, what does "use it right" actually mean? When should i use it? or how?

Empress give you temp WOB state regardless of hp
Devil is Book of belial lite
and Strength is temp hp & dmg up

if you use the Strength card in Deal with the devil then you can buy moar since it gives you a temp heart container

Strength is best - Gives you magic mushroom for a room
Devil is second - Book of belial for a room
Empress third - Gives ♥♥♥♥♥ of babylon for a room
