Which isn't as difficult as you'd think.
The hardest parts are the first 2 floors, where you should avoid any damage to afford your first devil deal.
Blue Baby and The Lost are the only ones with a guaranteed devil room on floor 2, because they cannot take any red-heart damage (Always having the highest chances of getting a devil room is kind of a big deal.), but unlike The Lost, Blue Baby still benefits from HP-Up items.
Doing "some" challenges and plowing through The Lost and Keeper stuff really puts his "difficulty" into perspective.
However, there are some really nice Devil Room items that are incredibly good for Blue Baby, like Lady of Carnal Favors of Babylon, Dark Bum, Satanic Bible, Death's Touch, The Nail, The Pact and Abbadon.
I would also recommend gaining as many unlocks from easier characters, doing a lot of challenges, and maxing out the donation machine to add some other good items to the pools.
thanks for the help
I'd rather have no treasure rooms, than no devil rooms. That's how good most devil items are.
Since you have Afterbirth, Empty Vessel and items, which contributes to the Leviathan transformation (Flight +3 Black Hearts) should also be quite helpful to you.
Another tip: If you see Blank Card (if unlocked), take it. You may find a Hierophant-card or Dagaz-rune (if unlocked). This would be a better alternative to The Nail, Book of Revelations and Satanic Bible. You should take those over Blank Card, tho, if you have not found a Hierophant-card or Dagaz-rune to go along with it.
But as Phaper said, you should stick with other characters first, practice your dodging and most importantly, get familiar with all the items in the game.
Edit: If you just want the D6 for now, just keep doing runs as usual and keep an eye out for the item "Ankh". It'll give you an extra life; If you die, you'll respawn as Blue Baby with 3 soul hearts (you'll keep all your items). So if you're getting powerful enough as any character and make it through the Cathedral, kill yourself before fighting Isaac and beat him as revived Blue Baby.
Hard early on but he is pretty awesome with the polaroid.
