Possible bug with self sacrifice room?

I was doing the daily today (2/4/2016) and made it to sheol, had 9 lives with soul/black hearts, killed both angel statues and when it came down the last heart I used the spikes and died/was teleported to the dark room. As I died, the floor transition got glitchy and then caused the game to crash. Anyone have any similar issues with the self sacrifice room?

Basically, you died while changing level. I guess the game did not understand where it should respawn you ? You know, when a program doesn't know what to do, it can only crash... :P

This happens quite alot. I think its something to do with when you die you should come back in the previous room, but in your case you cant because you have teleported to a new floor. So if you had say nine lives and you teleport using 1 of the 9 lives the same thing will happen, the game will crash, as far as i know anyway....

Some Google-Fu brought me here! Happened to me today (Challenge 03/03/2021), but I had 1 heart left and used the Percs!-pill; got like 3x Nothing, then I teleported and died at the same time, when I thought I was supposed to be at half a heart again (constantly refilling to 1 heart) ... Yep, 0 points!
