Greed mode and R key bug - Repentance

I was doing pretty good until I decided to buy the R key at the shop, once I used it took me to the first round with none of my items and my stats back to normal. I'm still able to press R and restart the game though. This is my first time using the R key but I don't think it's suppose to do that. Is there a way to fix this :(

Have to ask: did you use the item (as you should have), or did you press the R key on your keyboard (which completely resets the run even if you don't have the item)?

So you’re telling me in order to use the R key you don’t actually have to press R…
