How many hearts can a Rotten Bone Heart take?

I've tried looking for an answer but I've found none, so I'm asking it.
Hopefully the question is already clear, but in case its not, I mean a bone heart that's *ALSO* a rotten heart.
If a full Bone Heart can take a heart and a half of damage, and a Rotten heart can only take a half heart of damage, would a Rotten Bone Heart just take a full heart of damage?
Or would it still be a heart and a half somehow?

Got me curious, so I tested it. Spawned a bone heart and a rotten one, picked the bone heart (so I got an epty bone heart), then took the rotten one.
Result: got a rotten bone heart (well, at least this confirms they are indeed compatible).
Took one damage: lost the full rotten heart (as normal), so I ended up with en empty bone heart (itself worth half a heart, as usual).
