how do I access the sprites from rebirth?

I wanna modify some isaac sprites however I have no idea how to open the .a files, can anyone help me please??

Google "Rick's unpacker".

Or, if you have expansions, you could use the official extractor (adapt to wherever you installed the game). Can't remember if it was added by AB+ or Repentance though.

okay so I have downloaded "rick's unpacker" and followed the instructions on "the modding of isaac" website however i cannot run the Gibbed.Rebirth.Unpack.exe

You do drag the .a files on the Gibbed.Rebirth.Unpack.exe and then it selects you the content I think
