RESTORING THE SAVE FILES + CHECKMARKS

So! After some despair and headaches, I think I figured how to get it back.
I made a video doing sort of a tutorial (I don't know how to make videos don't judge me ) and if you need any help with it, I'll be pleased if you share your headache with me so we can solve it!

ok so I spent almost a full night trying things till I just gave up and went to sleep, but I've read inumerous posts about it and started just trying it cause "what if"
at first, the save files weren't in the "My Games" file. on the computer Documents. it was at C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\userdata, but here's the catch: it wasn't in only one file. in my case, it actually had 3 files with the same name/"directory".
i don't know exactly what one it is cause i haven't tested, i just replaced the 3 of them and it worked lol
the file name is "250900" and it had copies on other 3 files: "189245787", "189916532" and "1020855821"
just replace the "rep_persistentgamedata1.dat" with the most recent pre beta save file you have (in my case it was November 30th. oh, and you'll have to rename it to replace it. the save files can be found at the "My Games") and it will give your completion marks back!

It worked! I think the key is to find all the "250900" folders in the userdata folder, cause there is more than one. I had 2 folders of "250900", replaced files in both and got all achievements back Good job bro <3

What about achievments on solo mode during this beta days? They are after doing the manual backup :(

about those, sadly you lost them all
you'll have to re-do every single one of them
the backups during the beta are cursed and they will get overwritten every time you open the game
for me, I had to refill my dono machine from 400 to 999 to unlock the stopwatch all over again

I need help. Made a backup when coop released and had unlocked so much since then. And yesterday everything was gone. I tried using the back up but it literally did nothing. Steam doesnt even ask me to sync to cloud and the file names everyone speaks of are not able to be found in my game folders. Any help appreciated.

hey! open your steam app > right click the game > manage > browse local files
there, you'll search for a file named "savedpath.txt" and you'll open it
you'll se 2 text lines: save data path and modding data path
just see where your save data path is located and search for it!
