Weird Room

So firstly, I think I can call myself a fairly experienced Isaac Player, who knows about (most) features of the game. However in my last run I encountered something weird, might have to do with TMTRAINER. Of course I forgot to take a Screenshot of the room, like a complete Idiot.
So I was in the Dark Room, spending my health on the random glitch-Items from TM Trainer and one, upon pickup, teleports me to a regular Bedroom with a Ladder in the middle, one or two chests in the top right and three item pedestals in the lower middle. I was purged from all items except my active (Guppy's Paw) and consumables, set back to "starting conditions". I think I should mention here, it was an Eden Run and I started with Guppy's Paw.
From here on I could choose one of the three items, sometimes Devil Deal Items, sometimes Boss Pool, sometimes regular Item Pool, always after I made a choice the pedestals got refreshed until after like 20 something items they didn't anymore. I have literally never experienced this before, I got no mods installed or anything and I'm baffled that this game still surprises me. What was this room? It also said "Gone" somewhere on the screen when I got teleported, not sure if that was just a TMTrainer subtext or what.
