All my game files are gone

I tried to play the online beta but after I went back to the normal game my saves were completely wiped, I have all the normal characters I had, its just my completion marks, challenges and items that arent there. Any idea what I should do???

im in the same boat, im not sure what to do. i did my save files backup but my completion marks and items wont show up

The save files from the "Documents/My Games/Binding of Isaac" folder are backups. You must replace the file in the "Steam/userdata/[your steam acc id]/250900" with your backup. If the name of your back looks like "20231202.rep_persistentgamedata1," delete the "20231202." to make it match the files in the save location.

yeah I tried this but it won't work for some reason, I even tried with older back ups

saw this reddit link on another post and this worked for me just make sure to look at the top pinned comment as step 4 changed a little

Yeah wow, really wish I would have seen this before trying the co op beta. All of the solutions listed above seem to be different ways of doing the same thing, and none of them are working for me.
