Streaming notification won't go away

Every time I start this game, I get a notification in the top-left corner telling me I can stream the game for my Steam friends. Half the time it disappears after a few seconds, the other half it never disappears. I can't see my health when it's there. No other game I play has that notification appear. Is there any way to stop it from appearing?

Have you tried this?
Open Steam Client -> Settings -> Interface -> Uncheck this box "Notify me about additions or changes to my games, new releases, and upcoming releases"

That didn't work. The notification appeared and disappeared after a few seconds, but in its place was a purple square that still blocked my health.

god that sounds awful. The only way to manage notifications is through the friends list. But those notifications has nothing to do with your pop up. Try posting the same question in "Help and tips" forum.
