your dad must be proud of u
IMO, it is definitely worth to play. Don't forget to get Wrath of The Lamb DLC.
Pros: different bosses, infinite health capacity :), I like the music more
Cons: less items/synergies, when you start breaking the game it will lag horrendously
No he most certainly is not.
btw I only mentioned that because I just wanted get the point across that Im getting burned out on Rebirth but still want something goal driven
Thanks for all the feedback, It sounds like everyone is saying that regardless of anything differnent or negative in the flash game that its worth it to buy it and give it a chance.
The thing, that will put you off the most will be the 30FPS cap of flash. It's really noticable, if you've played a crapload of Rebirth.
And of course it's about 100x more difficult; enemies can take 20 times as much hits as compared to Rebirth, features hardly any synergies between items and you sometimes stand in front of Mom's Knife or Brimstone and wonder, if it's a good idea to pick them up.
It's most of the time not worth it. Trust me.
So yeah, hard to tell wether you'd enjoy it or not. Do you enjoy stabbing yourself repeatedly in the kidney? Isaac flash is that in videogame-form.
It's a good game, but flawed due to flash's limitations. That's why we got a remake.
But it's like 2 bucks on sale with WotL, so there's no real reason to not give it a try.
BoI:R/A, we have ... 434 hours and counting.
BoI was good - I won't say it wasn't - but going back to it is like going back to a beta state of a game after you've played the full thing. It's just not the same, to me. I started with BoI, loved it, was hyped for Rebirth, and honestly I couldn't go back to the original. The framerate, the lack of synergies, the lack of room variety, I don't know.
It's cheap enough that you could definitely give it a try though; it's not gonna break the bank, and like I said, it was good - it's just lackluster compared to the remake, by far.
Im looking forward to that new content. I wonder if they will make another full Isaac game thats totally stand alone. I bet Edmund doesnt want to deal with crazy ♥♥♥♥ that comes with doing that.
