Edit: Nazemec is right. Might need to move a desktop computer, but it's not thaaaat bad.
I would suspect that the save data is more or less the same, but you would need to reverse-engineer the ConnectedStorage to mimic it. And at that point, you wouldn't really be transferring your save- You would just be constructing your own save file. And the other issue with this could be that it uses the Steam cloud saves. I have not even looked at the files for this game, but if they're using Steam, then chances are that the save file also exists with some Steam-specific functionality, which you may also need to figure out.
I won't say it's completely impossible, cause in the world of programming, there is nothing that can't be done, but... For all intents and purposes, it's pretty much impossible. lol
I would do that, but i don't want to have to use a xbox 360 controller (i only have two, the first one's broken, and the second one is gone (plus the "feel" of an xbox one controller is much better)).
I also don't want to have to use the computer, becuase seeing two screens of the same game gets me distracted when I'm on a difficult fight.
Also, if you have a micro USB cable, you can hook up an xbone controller and it works natively.
Great post. Not only did they probably figure it out sometime in the last 7 years, it's also literally the first answer that has been given. What is wrong with you?
