Tips for finding items?

These are the one's I need to find:

mega blast - devil room item pool
succubus - devil room item pool
eden's blessing - treasure room item pool
d100 - treasure room item pool
missing no. - secret room item pool

I'm done with everything else. I've picked up the D100 a few times, but I've never used it. At the time, I wasn't thinking of my collection page.

Would playing lots of Greed Mode and hope for Chaos be the best option? I really want to hammer this out.

If you picked up the D100 before, it should be in your collection page.

For everything else, do D6 Isaac runs and be on the look-out for items that synergize with the D6 (Habit, Sharp Plug, Wafer, 9 Volt, Battery, etc).

Yeah Isaac and his D6 is best. When I unlocked everything I had a game I got two Steam Sales with Restock and Chaos bought from shops, then had a shop that had batteries in it. You can then reroll for all eternity to get everything you need. This doesn't need to happen, just follow Phaper's advice and you'll get there. Mega Blast isn't a special item but it is quite rare so that might be the toughest to find.

With the item pools you need I think it might be better just to play on regular play mode also than Greed mode.

It's not on my collection page because it's an activated item. I learned this the hard way. I guess I'll be doing regular runs with Isaac.

All items only need to be picked up to show up on the collection page.

By the way, would you recommend normal normal difficulty runs or what? I've been playing exclusively on hard mode shortly after Rebirth came out.

If the goal is just to pick up items, and you're not going for achievements, completion marks, or streaks, play on Easy.

I just got the D100, and after a few character rerolls I got Eden's Blessing. So I think the fastest way to collect items may be to reroll a character as often as possible.

Edit: I guess it won't help as much with Mega Blast though.

Missing No might actually be harder to find than Mega Blast.

I only got it by breaking Rebirth's Chest with Undefined.

Mega Blast is easy to get if you have a large amount of Eden's tokens.

Just play as Eden, she always starts with an activable item. If it's not Mega Blast, start another run.

There's 93 activables I think? Mega Blast is not less likely to show up this way than any of the others.

I was about to do this, but decided to give Greed Mode a try to break it for Mega Satan and on the second restart try (not break breaking it) it popped up in the first floor. I got super lucky :)

I'll focus on breaking Greed Mode to get Mega Blast and Succubus. I broke it once last night and I got the item that turns cards into pills well into it.
