I'm absolutely awful with Lilith, any tips?

I agree, another helpful thing is to beat Greed mode with Lilith (extremely easy) to unlock the box of friends and then practice with that on other characters

Practice makes perfect. One tip is, don't get another familiar(except another Incubus and the ones not following behind Incubus), It makes hard to focus your fire. The only exception is Charged Baby, cuz it occasionally spawns a little battery.

Pretty sure Box of Friends is already unlocked for me, without having beaten Greed Mode with her. It's either unlocked, or she has it without it being unlocked.

She starts with it, but you have to unlock it by beating Greed Mode with her to make it possible for it to show up in the game for anyone else.

Practice makes perfect. Pretty much all that there is to it. It's not a terrible idea to actually practice using The Family Man challenge, since that's basically the same thing as Lillith just with much more potato-tier damage. That said, Rotten Baby might skew that a bit.

It's also worth pointing out that you should never underestimate her items. Box of Friends is really really good, and Cambion Conception can give you access to some really good familiars if you're taking a lot of damage. Dark Bum is in it, for instance, as well as Lil Brimstone, I think you can even get a second incubus out of it if you're lucky. You can also get completely screwed and end up with the Leech, but that's just how it works.

Lilith's little succubus has a set minimum range. So getting number one and other items like that is actually pretty good. If u have cambion conception, blood donation machines and the bloody penny are your best friends. Box of friends can be really op and if u really want a free run, wait until you get mongo baby. Mongo baby is dreeaaams. also with ludovico u have your succubus shooting and ur ludo tear as well. so ludo is a yes

The thing with Ludo, and Robo Baby 2.0 etc. is that they're controlled via the arrow keys, which you use to fire, so you can't use both Incubus and Ludo effectively.
