How on earth do you beat mum in 20 mins?

Unless your insanely lucky how do u do this? I've beaten mega satan but I can't reach boss rush... do I have to use a magical seed or something?

Search the Item Room, search the boss, ignore the rest of the floor until you hit caves 1 when you were lucky with coins, else caves 2, then pick up the shop if needed. Make quick decisions. Be lucky. When going for BR, I use this guideline:

Basement 1: 2-3 minutes
BM 2: 5 minutes
C1: 7
C2: 10
D1: 14
D2: 18 to reach mom

That should work out.

You have to beat the boss rush with every character to unlock things, but you can't unlock anything using seeds. Was this question serious? I hope not.

I find it really simple to get to the BR you just find the item rooms on each floor and try not to take too long. Don't just uncover every room and always remember to go to the shop about once in the 6 floors.

She's really not that hard to kill, I just got the game and I've beaten it 4 times, incuding darkness mode. The patterns and hit detection is really forgiving in the game compared to true hardcore bullet hell games. Also Azazal is WAAAAY too overpowered, playing as him legit made me just quit after the three hour mark because of how cheap he felt, you charge up and legit just kill almost anything within the short range in front of you. Just study the patterns of Mom, the foot's always in the center, and bullets come from the corners, dodging them is easy because of how basic the hit detection is. in 3 hours I've beaten this game 4 times, I really don't understand how people think this game is hard. I plan on playing it more though, as people said it gets harder the more you beat the game? "hope I'm not being trolled". Overall Enter the Guneion is far harder than this with true bullet hell style levels, and constant increase in difficulty; along with ability to boost dificulty via cursing yourself in game, for hardcore Bullet Hell addicts. Givin the Hype I was a bit disapointed with The Binding of Isaac, I'd disagree and say it's too easy.

Here's how I do it: fully explore Basement, prioritize getting treasure/curse rooms only from Caves onwards. Mostly ignore shops unless you lucked out and have 15+ coins.

If you're doing this the first time, use either Judas (force Devil Deals + Book of Belial for damage) or Azazel (flight + brimstone) since you can clear rooms really fast.

Good for you. It is easier than the norm when you start, but it does get harder when you regularly play and unlock other floors, bosses and characters (Keeper is a pain in the ass to use). Be sure to play on hard to maximize unlocks.

You have no idea what they're talking about, do you? If you reach her stage and win while the timer is still under 20 minutes for the entire run (you don't have to unlock the Womb; Boss Rush is available any run), a big room will open. Upon entering the room, you will fight almost every boss (can't remember if some are left out or not) with no breaks. However, some people find it difficult to make the 20 minute cut (as in, from the first floor to Mom's Foot's stage). Also, you stopped playing because of Azazel, literally the most powerful dude in the game? That's borderline stupid, dude. You'd never be able to complete runs with the Lost with the lack of experience you've got. Did you even unlock the Womb?

i dont know man i be been playing this game for hours and its so easy most of my runs are around 18 mins you just have to practice more and continue playing and you ll find it easy too :D

Thanks for the tips, seems I was part right that like in most parts of the binding of isaac you need to be pretty lucky. Not just to get there in 20 minutes but also have build good enough to beat all bosses. Then there's also RNG when it comes to which bosses you face since some are ridiculously easy compared to others.

But just beat boss rush AND blue womb with judas so it isn't totally impossible just highly improbable :/.

I'm fairly new myself so I'm not sure, maybe 6 or so.
I'm only up to killing moms heart a few more times for It Lives boss
