Report a translation problem
The only reasons I would even consider recommending the original to anyone: A bit of nostalgia (does not apply to you), somewhat higher difficulty (for a newcomer, Rebirth should be plenty difficult enough), better music (subjective, and can be modded into Rebirth if desired), or basically wanting to see an early sluggish (due to Flash) version of Isaac to see how far the Isaac "series" has come.
