Which Challenge should I do first?
I just got the game and the DLC. I've had no luck beating any of the challenges so far, so I'm consulting you guys. Which one is the easiest?

You just got the game?
Why not go through the regular game a few times first so you know what you're doing?

It'd be a good idea to actually know how to fight the end boss of these challenges before you actually try them.

I need to clarify: I've played the game multiple times since then. My winstreak is -60 or so.

Which means it would be surprising if you manage to complete a challenge for now.

Challenges are what they're called, challenges. Some might look easier at first, but they need you to go pretty far in the game without any treasure room (the ones with golden doors giving you items).

Beat Mom (the 6th boss) at least once. It is considered here as "you completed the tutorial". Then, kill the 8th boss a few times. You'll be ready for the easier challenges at that point in my opinion.

For now, learn how to play the game. Challenges are for later. ;-)

Thanks. I've been told the fandom is a bit testy with these sort of things--Apparently, I was wrong.

If you REALLY want to start with any challenge, start with ones where you only need to beat Mom's foot hence six levels to go through only. There's more room for making mistakes usually.
You can see the final boss of each challenge as a symbol below your heart containers, if you didn't know that already.

I'd recommend trying to beat at least mom's foot a few times first. There are a couple of easy challenges but most of them are more difficult than your average run (at least in my experience) so you want to be at least half decent at the game before you start working on them otherwise you're gonna end up with a lot of frustrating deaths.

The Waka Waka challenge is somewhat difficult, but it's comparatively easy and it gives ones of the best Challenge unlocks: Death's Touch.

Death's Touch is a passive tear effect that gives penetrative shots AND a damage up, and it shows up in Devil Deals (as a 2-heart deal), and Treasure Rooms.

If you really want to beat at least one challenge, go for Computer Savvy. In this one you've got homing Technology - a really OP combo that can carry you through the game.

Yeah I think you should give them all a try, some are much easier than these guys make them out to be like Neptunella said computer savvy isn't hard really and it's pretty fun imo. Definitely best one to get done like Phaper said is Waka Waka. I would also recommend doing High Brow, Cat Got Your Tounge and Solar System as their rune unlocks are very good. If you can, try to get Family Man done also as the weapon it unlocks is considered one of the best in the game. As for Afterbirth challenges the only one really useful is Blue Bomber imo. Eventually I would try to do them all if I were you but some would say it makes the game easier just having the three runes I mentioned instead of having them all

Wow, you guys! I didn't expect such a large amount of advice. I'll play around with Computer Savvy and Waka Waka, in that case.

Don't use seeds if you are trying to unlock things it won't work. If you're just saying it's fun that's one thing, just trying to make sure you don't waste your time

I think he meant that this is the original seed of the challenge (with Brimstone in the first Devil Deal).
