Teleported after each use of active item

Hi everyone! I've just encountered a weird phenomenon - each time I used my active item I teleported to a (seemingly) random part of the map. First this happened when I tried to use Bob's Rotten Head, second and third - Flush. The items in question were seemingly used as well - for example, when I used Flush, I got a usual poop close up. I also certainly didn't have Cursed Eye or Cursed Skull, so I have no idea what actually happened. Does anyone know what may have caused this?

Did you had the trinket "Broken Remote"? It causes this exact effect.

Yes, I did - I just can't seem to memorize all of the trinkets, so I was like "Well, this might do something for me, might as well take it". At least now I know that I'm never touching this one again :D

Actually if you can get an unlimited use item like guppies paw and broken remote you can teleport infinitely and get yourself out of bad rooms and into treasure rooms and shops for free. Almost any terrible item in this game can be good under the right circumstances

Guppy's Paw isn't unlimited.

A better example would be Butter Bean, or one of the spacebar Candle items.

It absolutely is unlimited when you have no red hearts you can use it as many times as you want instantly. So no, butter bean would be way worse. Some day I hope you realize I understand this game and have played it a lot

Touche I'll admit I was wrong (for the DLC), my bad. That's a shame though I had a lot of fun with that in the past. I guess in that case maybe the best would be How to Jump or Remote Detonator so you could teleport instantly
