External Item Description mod don't work for me , anyone else?

Have you enabled it in the mods menu?

It broke but it's been fixed. You need to unsubscribe from it, load the game, close it then subscribe to the mod again, to force the update.

So, I disabled it in the game and closed it. Then, within this page, I hit the tab for workshops and searched for !!~external, located it, unsubscribed, then re-subscribed. In the game in the mods screen, it's got 1.!!~ and 2.!!~ where the 2 is new. Tried it with only 2 enabled, and with both. Neither of them worked.

What DID work is that 2 was disabled and 1 was enabled. This is janky af, so your results may vary. But try all this kinda skeet.

What I wrote is what the mod creator themselves said to do to fix it and it worked. You missed the step of launching the game while unsubscribed.

Maybe in list form it will be easier to understand.

unsubscribe from the mod

load the game

close the game

subscribe to the mod again

Now when you load the game it will work. There was an update but your game is not updating the mod like it should. Doing the above forces the update. But if you unsub and resub without launching the game it's the same as if you did nothing because the game has to launch to register the changes.
