Save games on new PC

Hi,
i bought a new PC and tried to get my save games to the new one.
I did copy the save games from the "my documents" from the old PC onto the new PC into the "my documents" save games folder. But every time i start TBOI, i always get empty slots.

Any ideas?

I'm not sure how to carry over saves. But you can make it so your savefile is synced with Steam achievements by going into your save, going into Stats, and pressing F2. That's all I know, maybe someone knows better how to help.

I got all my achievments, but all items, characters and stuff i already done is still missing. Is that normal?

You should still have characters and items unlocked, but items won't appear on "stuff i found" list until you find them again + characters don't have completion marks. THIS is normal. This has to be reclaimed. Sorry.

"My Documents" only stores backups of your saves, not the current saves. If you have Steam "cloud" enabled on this game, it should copy your current saves over to a new computer automatically. If it does not (as seems to be the case), you can use your backup files to restore your progress manually.

Take the latest backup file that would have your progress, copy it to the directory for current saves (C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\userdata\<YourSteamID>\250900\remote), and rename it to replace your current save. Then re-launch the game and see if your progress is restored.

Thanks, i got it to work with using the cloud on both PCs again and again until i made it. :D
