What's your opinion on Death's list?
I've tried it a few times now.

I've never benefited from picking it up personally, though it's possible that it could have saved me from resource poverty in a couple of runs if I had chosen to buy it.

If you are trying to make use of it, you'll be unlikely to make good time during your run, and some very good items make it nearly/completely useless.

Overall one of my least favorite devil deal items. I'd probably only buy it if I had extra red health and was already in key/bomb poverty. In practice, I've only gotten it from chaos or when I was using it to remove red health.

I would probably never get it from a devil room, unless it was free thanks to store credit or some other such ability. I've gotten it quite a few times from other means, and it isn't too useful. If it's a room where it would be easy to complete, I'd go for it, but most of the time I just forget about it entirely.

If I have some tears that don't kill multiple enemies at once, then sure I'll pick it.
Not only it can give you a lot soul hearts which is always good, but also stats up, that at the end of the run actually giving you huge stats boost.
I guess it depends on player skill. For me (most of the time) it's easy and fun to kill enemies in order. Also I always try to get rid off of red hearts, so even without possible profit it's k.
Free items/stats in rooms without enemies (only buttons) is amazing too.

Wait, it gives stat boosts?!
I never noticed. I just thought that sometimes it would randomly not pay out with items.

OH. That's a horse of a somewhat different color.

The state boosts are pretty rare.

And also random a lot. Sometimes gives you only items 20 times in a row, sometimes stats every room. I remember having dmg ups 3 times like that =P

For me, if first deal with the devil, not worth trading over for angel rooms. Still opt to not give away health for it otherwise. About on the same level as Demon Baby and Black Powder.

Could be a good item on paper, but in practice, not so much. There are a lot of times where you can't choose your targets (packs of yellow flies, for example) or many ennemies that create more ennemies, which changes the chain. Plus, illing one particular ennemy will be hard in rooms with dangerous foes that need to be taken care of in priority.
The item has a lot of potential, but that potential is blocked by how the game works itself, so I wouldn't consider it a "good" item.

It's really annoying to use when you have familiars or fly generation. Too much of a hustle to use properly
