syncing my ingame achievements to my steam achievements
For quite a while I have been a pirated tboi player, and just today, I got the game legally
I've already managed to port over my save file to the new version, but I can't seem to find any way to sync my achievements between steam and ingame.
I've tried solutions like going to the secrets menu but it didn't work. Any help is appreciated

I don't think there is a way to just get the steam achievements out of the blue, and support its not going to happen problably :btd6thumbsup: using a illegal copy of the game is... Illegal? Of course its good if you could get the game now, but without commands replicate the in-game triggers to ger achievements without replaying, i may be wrong, but it would be quite hard

In-game unlocks but missing Steam achievements? Then doing this should have worked, as far as I know.
Maybe the... let's say "uncommon" origin of the save interferes. Just a guess though.

Found a post from several months ago on reddit on how to do this:

save file location is in C:\Users\"your user here"/Documents/My Games/Binding of Isaac Repentance/ (or check safedatapath.txt in Isaac folder)

1st in that folder go to settings.ini and make sure SteamCloud is set to zero.

now go to your cracked save file location and rename your latest (you can find out by the numbers, its a date for example 2021/11/01) savefile so it doesnt have numbers in it (for me it was "20211101.persistentgamedata1.dat" to "persistentgamedata1.dat")

it should work, do the same for savefile2 and 3 if ya have them started

if it still doesnt look in log.txt it should somewhat tell you how it should look

If it's set to save in the same place as your cracked version, the steam copy will have likely already have a .dat file, so if it the first one doesn't work try the 2nd latest dat file.

Alright I found a soloution. it's slow but it works,
I started the entire game over and am using the debug console to just give myself every achievement I had on my old save.
