Bombs are key pill not working

Got the pill, put a bomb in front of the door as usual, door didn't open used 3 bombs, i should note this happened in the downpour map so maybe its map centered bug?

"Bombs are Key" will simply swap your currently held keys with bombs. Has no effect on bombs or keys on the ground.

The "Broken Padlock"-trinket has the effect, that you can use bombs to blow open locked chests and doors.

This pill does not let you use bombs in front of locked doors to open them. That's not its effect at all.

What it does is swap your current numbers of bombs and keys. If you have 1 bomb and 3 keys, after using the pill you end up with 3 bombs and 1 key.

I mean, if you don't trust the wiki that much, it can easily be checked in dozens of videos recorded years ago if you prefer.

I've had friends and family go down the road of dementia and to be honest you are sounding much like them. Denial their memory could ever be wrong, having trouble learning new things, rage at any changes and being paranoid and hostile when obviously wrong. I suggest talking to a Dr as early intervention could help slow things down. From past experience and the way you are acting I know you wont listen but I like to help so it's worth one shot. Seek some help. You wouldn't ignore a broken leg. You shouldn't ignore issues with your brain either.

By the sound of it:

You've been bombing either regular doors or boarded up doors, that's why they "worked" before.

You can't bomb locked doors, boss doors, arcade doors or gauntlet doors.

and "bombs are key" simply swap your bomb counter with the key counter, it's been like this since OG Isaac.
