Tainted Apollyon - which item is best to unlock first???

I simply want to know your opinions about all stuff he is able to get. Personally, first of all I am going to unlock Rotten Beggar by defeating Mega Satan, but I would love to see some recommendations from others on what is worth getting with him first :3

In my opinion, for all tainted characters first of all need to defeat Mega Satan, since there are cool stuffs that make game more interesting. And Boss rush, Hush with Greed mode are the least usefull, since they only unlock useless souls and reversed taro cards

General rule of thumb imo for any tainted character is go mega satan first, the unlocks always add unique elements to the environment rather than just, another item in the pool. It's a lot more entertaining and keeps the game feeling fresher.

Even after the nerf, it's still an incredibly powerful item. That said, I'll agree with the others who point out that Tainted unlocks from Mega Satan are a priority. Like, even above most of the other Repentance unlocks in general, they're that good.

He's one of the straightforward tainted characters, so I'd just approach him in whatever order strikes your fancy since using him isn't a chore. I like the kill-basic-bosses trinket he unlocks as a nonspecific help-me-fight thing, if I don't have anything more synergistic hanging around. You end up getting half of that done on the way to Sega Matan and there's a chance you can pick up Delirium after doing the other set of bosses, if you happen to decide to do that before tackling Hush. so it ought to happen pretty quickly no matter what you do. Echo Chamber has a ton of abuse potential if you're into that as others have noted. I've gotten some fun out of his invert card with the D12, mostly just to see what kind of mess I end up with, and since most floors have a big or kinda-big room it's usually good for a couple soul hearts (assuming you can break the rocks)--but nothing to write home about for all that.
