Is TBOI fair? How to avoid skill issue?
I just died on a good run with Beth, I wanted to defeat Hush and I had really great items. The thing is that when I was fighting against it and I was about to defeat it a lot of bullets comes to me and it was imposible to not get hit by them I even tried pausing the game but the bullets move like randomly. And I died.
The thing is that after runs like that I kinda feel a bit bad, I don't know if I'm bad at the game "skill issue" or the game is just unfair. Things like delirium vs tainted lost.
Does this only happens with TBOI or also happens with Enter The Gungeon or Nuclear Throne?
Any good advice to have less skill issues?

There are parts of the game that's going to be unfair (like some of the challenges, tainted lost and delirium), but the majority of the time you just need to learn how monsters and bosses work. If you're struggling a lot against a certain boss then you could look up videos to see how other people deal with it.

Hush is one of the more consistent bosses, in terms of bullet-patterns. Like it's continuum-tears, which has openings, that allow you to just stand still, while shooting at Hush. You eventually get the hang of it as you fight Hush more often.

Enter the Gungeon is definitely harder in that regard. It's overall a lot more bullet-hell. But also tighter designed and more fair, if that makes any sense.

Hush, like some other parts of TBoI, is more of an opportunity-thing, that you do, when you feel you could do it. It's not something, that you can always force to win, or even happen in the first place, so don't feel too discouraged.

I don't think TBOI is unfair actually but Hush is one off the bullet hell bosses and those are definitly TBOIs weakness. The best advise I can give is just to have fun and enjoy the run you have. Don't cry after the things you didn't get. Learning the patterns just takes time and you don't actually need mods to beat the game

You just need more practice. Sometimes there are situations where it's nearly impossible to avoid getting hit, but they are rare and if they kill you, you already made mistakes before that.

saying tainted lost is unfair is unironically a skill issue

More like the truth. He's a true glass cannon in a world, where it's raining rocks. This game has it's fair share of unavoidable damage-situations and to cut down on some, you'd have to pass up on otherwise good items, like the one's giving your piercing tears or blue fly/spider generators.

Having a character who effectively dies in one hit is a legitimate challenge in most of the game. Having a superboss who's an unpredictable mashup of pure chaos and madness is a legitimate optional challenge for most characters (just don't go up against him unless your run is broken enough to win). Trying to beat the latter as the former is exponentially more difficult, to the point where "broken enough" has to mean "literally invincible". Which is still possible (Book of Shadows and 4.5 Volt in addition to whatever damage upgrades everyone else needs), so I'm not even sure whose side I'm taking and you shouldn't be either.
