Am i the only one not getting any keys on 1st & 2nd floors

So just did a run using Isaac & yet again on floor 1 & 2 i get no key drops, no D6 reroll into key items, no key in the shop on 1st floor & what makes it even worse is that i get 1-2 bomb drops on both floors giving me a total of 2-3 bombs to try & find a key(hidden rooms, rocks etc).

This has become more common for me since the last update & i was just wondering if i am just getting the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ luck or if other people are also experiencing this?
It really is starting to annoy now me & feels like i am wasting my time! I want to get the knife pieces but it seems to be more common that i have to end a run & start again just because i can't find a single key.

how many games do you play daily 5,6,7-60,70?
So far today i have done 14 runs & only managed to enter downpour twice because of not getting a key drop. The 1st time i got into downpour i was getting no damage items so by the time i got to the harder floors i could do nothing.

The last run i just had i entered downpour got the knife piece but had 0 bombs i had 4 drop in total +1 playing as Isaac(5) that i had to use to find a key on 1st & 2nd floor. I go to the caves thinking i can get a couple of bombs there but nope clear the entire floor & check the shop but no bombs!

I'd say around 8 runs daily, although I'm stopping for now waiting for the next update

yea waiting for next update would be the smart thing to do & hope that if it is an issue its fixed but thing is i have spare time now, no idea when next update will drop!

Man I must be rolling in luck. I've had at least 1 to 2 key drops every level for like my past 20 runs.

No offense intended, but it seems to just be that. Based on my experience nothing prevents key generation on the first two floors (or bombs, or anything).

do you play on hard or normal ? since there's usually less rooms, and less champions in normal, you could reliably get less drops than you would in hard.

I know everyone is trying to help but i just want to point out that i have 1369 hours in Isaac on steam & that's not counting the time i put in to the physical copies of each version

If i didn't think something was off i wouldn't have asked if anybody else is experiencing the same thing, and yea i play on hard normal is pointless XD

I genuinely didn't know what you were expecting asking that kind of question.

Honestly? bad luck. I can always enter downpour/dross. I don't recall being blocked more than 2 times. I am doing something like 8 runs per day and I already have something like 60 hours in repentance
