But Co-op greed/greedier has been really frustrating because one player can hold the screen down and when you move up, BAM hit from an off screen bullet.
Like I'm sorry but if your a ghost because you died in co-op greed you should A. not have control of the camera and B. Not be able to push the start the fight button. Also sometimes they just don't respawn. Even after multi floors and boss kills.
And ghost not being able to pick up items plus when they don't respawn leaves me picking everything up. So when they do revive they are under powered.
And if they pick a no red hp character.... They revive with 1 single hit, ever unless theres soul hearts in the shop or a hp up.
Meat cube -> squeezy -> dinner (then a devil room with something like multi dimensional buddy) -> ball of bandages -> mini mush ETC
Sure I got somethings to help me through but if I don't have at least one flashy effect then I get so bored lol.

it hurts to just abandon pick ups & not full clear floors. some of those rooms might have some sweet sweet loot in there!
just trap rooms in general annoy the hell out of me nothing like wiping the floor with every living thing and getting stopped dead in your tracks because you don't have bombs or flight to negate the "puzzleing" room filled with spikes or bombs or worst yet auto turrets
like really had a very promising keeper run with ippicac and quad shot that demolished every boss BUT OH WOAH THERE you gotta avoid the turrets and shoot the poop that way to close to the walls so you damage yourself every shot because ♥♥♥♥ you trap room.

Dead Cells was kind enough to give you a "lock unlocks" option, with the caveat that you can't lock too many or else no achievements.
That being said, since item quality is now a thing, the devs clearly don't care about balance and know that picking available items would be exploitable. Plus, the UI for that would be a pain probably with how many items and achievements there are.
Edit: Seriously, imagine if you only unlocked Algiz rune. It'd make the game so much easier. They can't let you roll with just Algiz, but at the same time, going in with a new save you can only unlock that one and ignore the rest, and you are better off doing that.
Also, just how bloated the game is now. Especially with items that are essentially just demonstrably worse versions of other items. The overall quality of the item pool has been consistently degraded over time, but the difficulty of the game keeps going up.
use sac rooms, donation machines, bomb shopkeeps/bums, look for super secret angel rooms and watch for duality.
How do you force the first angel room?
And yeah, the sacrifice room exists, but they're not that helpful unless you have a whole bunch of health you can waste. It is definitely the more strategic play, but it'd be much more useful if they carried over from floor to floor, or at least were guaranteed to show up.
