those annoying floor popping worms need to be re-balanced
heya, im ticking almost 700 hours in, bought the DLC,
now there's that enemy, "needle" which i think i utterly broken, on RNG it will pop next to you, 0.5 sec later it will jump and damage you, no chance of avoiding it if it popped near you

i begun new save file and i can tell, this gonna be a blast to deal with on lost and keeper runs,

Wtf is with the complaints with this mob? They give you a pretty obvious cue before they jump out towards you. Do you guys have an issue with pin too? Lol

They are doing exactly what they are designed to do, to give players who have "mastered" the usual enemies a new challenge, they are no harder than other enemies and don't need nerfing, they're just different, and that's OK.

i dont like how they dissapear into the ground instantly, with Pin you could at least hit his tail while he was borrowing himself underground for a lil second

they don't even deal contact damage until they jumped, if you run into them while they only start to pop out, you don't take damage. the only problem i have with them is not knowing when there are minipins in the room, but i guess it'll come with remembering mob and room layouts

This is what bothers me the most. It just doesnt feel right. Every time they disappear it feels like you were cheated a shot or two you could have gotten in still.

Dunno if it was fixed cause i rarely see them but before first patch i was getting them spawning directly below me or one tile from me in the direction i was walking.

i hate how theres no real tell that a room has them, but other than that i think they're fine.

The thing is, if they pop near you, you bassicly have no chance of dodging

If they would only pop certain distance away, i would agree, but sometimes they pop just on me, no chance on dodge

I call ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. There's a pause between when they show up and when they start dealing damage, so there's time if you have the reflexes.
