Why is Sticky Nickel still a thing
Genuine question. You have to unlock it yet all it does is make you waste a bomb so if you're going for 100% completion, have fun dealing with that I guess????

"Unlocking Sticky Nickels is strictly speaking a downgrade, as they replace normal nickels, though the sticky ones are rare enough to not make a severe difference.

Although Edmund McMillen has stated that Sticky Nickels should replace pennies, this is not how they are actually implemented."

-From the wiki. it is a downgrade that edie just kept for the lols

literally can´t find a single source anywhere for that except for a single tweet reply saying that. the original BOI wiki says nickels are 1/20 and the current wiki has not quite that number on https://bindingofisaacrebirth.fandom.com/wiki/Coins

but it doesn't say what the chances are for a nickel if you haven't unlocked the Sticky Nickel. if it is actually 5% instead of the 4.68% stated on the wiki (would take a lot of tracking drops to confirm) then it does change a normal nickel into a sticky one and would be a straight downgrade

what people type on a wiki without a source does not become truth
