Reading the patch notes, I was surprised to see the Dark Room skip via sacrifice rooms doesn't work in the daily anymore.

I myself am boring and never used it, but is there any speculation as to why? Is it just because that was the meta to skip and boost score?

You might want to read that patch note again because that is not what it says.

It works normally if it's already a Lamb daily. So like 10% of the time then.

Yes, goal skipping was supposed to be completely removed in Repentance (it was the meta as you said, and rather boring/luck based). Some methods were patched out on launch (such as Ehwaz/Shovel), but the sacrifice room teleport was mistakenly still working.

Ah ok, then I misunderstood what you said. I thought you meant skipping TO the end (which you can still do), not skipping past the end to get more points. My bad.
