My main suggestion after beating it is to reset for a library to get book of revelations, level 3/4 meatboy/bandage girl makes the Satan fight bearable. Additionally the effects of bomb items apply to the explosion, so going for bomb bums in general can be good. Good luck beating it, it’s definitely one of the hardest ones in the update

found bloody mary harder than this one, only took me 2 try, 1 try got to the room right before satan, but i picked dead cat by instinct and lost a good chunk of my health, and got a the fallen + the dark one and got bodied 9 times in a row, second try beat it. having access to free bombs helps a lot for stacking stuff, go for arcades cause bomb beggar are really good

I think it's pretty fun but I had the most luck and progress so far by doing what bs9594 said and just hoping you get bomb synergies and whatnot. I imagine if you can also find any form of explosive damage immunity you're just golden for the rest of the run unless you're an idiot. I haven't had that luck yet but maybe one day I will lol

So bomb synergies work? I remember picking up Bob's Curse and I think my Forgotten Potato poisoned enemies. Good to know. Does bobby-bomb work too?

Don't think so? I remember I cheesed it hard by having monstrance and empty vessel, so I could faceram enemies holding the body when the shield was up

I litterally just beat The Beast with tainted Isaac with Gnawed Leaf and Dad's Love. I took a shower and cooked my meal while the "fight" was going on =D

both candles are also usable to delay explosions at will, since you can hold them up and cancel them without using charge, and can also be used offensively

Of course it's "easy" if you happen upon the right items, but that doesn't make the challenge less frustrating. I ended up cheesing it with Magic Fingers, but that is exactly the problem. When a challenge is too hard players start looking for loopholes to bypass the challenge.

Ultra Hard has a similar problem. The biggest hurdle is that no hearts drop, but that just makes you completely reliant on RNG to find another way of healing yourself. All you need to win Ultra Hard is Placenta and maybe a Chaos Card for Mega Stan.

well getting any mark as tainted lost more so Jacob&esau / Jacob is a challenge don't mean it's not fustrating to go for to the point of putting you off from the game entirely.
