Repentance not activating?

Ive just bought the new DLC and when I start up Isaac it says Im still playing afterbirth+.
This is also weird as when right clicking isaac and then heading to the "dlc" tab, doesnt even display repentance.
I, first, had it so that the game displayed antibirth but restarting my PC made it like this (displaying afterbirth+).
Is there any weird bug happening or do I have to do something in order for it to activate?

Same. Same! This is so bizarre! Please help us if you know what's wrong . . . I don't want to refund this, I want to play the fun DLC I paid for!

I had to uninstall and reinstall to get it to install the update, but it did work.

Hey, I'm experiencing the same issue, I've purchased repentance but it doesn't show up in the DLC list... when I get to the repentance store page I can just click on "play now". Anyone found a solution? I've tried uninstalling/reinstalling isaac.

For anyone on Linux/steamdeck:
Tick under game settings: force the use of a specific compatibility tool -> proton experimental.

It will redownload and update, everything should work as expected after
