Pyromaniac Glitched?

I have been trying to unlock forgotten and luckily I found pyromaniac but the stomps still ended up killing me. Is this glitched?

It's been "patched" so host hat/pyromaniac don't protect from stomping anymore. Must be even more fun of an unlock.

In all fairness, my actual unlocking run in AB+ didn't manage to pick up explosion immunity, using Gnawed Leaf and clever timing instead. The stomps themselves are a pretty good way of clearing out nearby enemies so you can safely move, and there are pauses in the stomping long enough to activate it and escape. (I seriously have no idea how that thing managed to escape the nerfbat and was even indirectly BUFFED by familiar changes)

Before repentance I still died with pyro while unlocking forgotten. I ended up getting it with a build that had nothing to do with invincibility. Just keep moving around dude. As long as you never stop flying around you are pretty much in the clear to boss rush.

i think mom's foot now deals contact damage,so you aren't taking damage from the explosion,but by making contact with mom's foot

Thanks for the advice just unlocked the forgotten with a 20+ damage chocolate milk brimstone run
